I am going to guess that I am not alone here when I say as a photographer, our holiday photos can be just a tad bit stressful. This is the busiest time of the year for me. And yet, each year I wait until the last minute to take our holiday photos. Each year I say I am going to hire someone AND each year I argue with myself on if that is REALLY necessary. So, what we typically end up with is a collection of photos that have been taken on small breaks from other sessions, or before other sessions, or before we are running out the door to go to lets say…basketball. Ugh, I get anxiety just writing about it here!! And yet, I kind of laugh, because my family of boys, they are rock stars. They try hard not to complain when we are working on our 3rd attempt at the “right” photo. They show up, they do their best to be supportive of my vision. It doesn’t matter how many photos I take, it is NEVER enough. No matter how many I take, I question if I have captured one child more than the other. Have I told the story of our lives, that is MY job for Petes Sake! Am I giving you anxiety just talking about it? Ha! The life of a photographer! Better yet, the life of a MOM! Here are some of the many photos that surrounded our holiday season and many that followed, take one, take two, take three 🙂
